| W.R. Thomas Middle's Feliz Tigre Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a multi-faceted organization. Although there are strict academic guidelines to become eligible for membership, all students inducted into NJHS pledge to uphold the following five important ideals: Character, Citizenship, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. Members of NJHS participate in weekly club meetings and as Tiger Tutors - helping their peers with Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies homework. In addition, NJHS members also commit themselves to several annual community service events, including Dr. Perez's Holiday Book Giveaway and the fundraiser/walk for Autism. To date...we have raised over $5000 for Autism! |
